Kopersverhalen

The couple have settled into village life fantastically, and were welcomed into the community with open arms.

Jaime & Kerry

Dreamcatcher House, Voditsa

Jaime and Kerry first spotted Dreamcatcher House on YouTube, and they simply couldn’t resist. They made payment, left the hard work to Sonny, and hit the road in their motorhome, travelling all the way from Ireland to sign for their new home. From the moment they arrived, they fell in love, both with the village and with the house itself. A warm welcome from their new neighbours confirmed what they already felt: they’d made exactly the right decision. Since then, they’ve enjoyed putting their own stamp on the property, making upgrades and decorating it to suit their tastes. Fun fact: Kerry’s son loved the area so much that he’s since bought his own house from us in a neighbouring village!

Nathan

Palamartsa Plot, Palamartsa

Nathan had been saving up for a car back in England, but after his Dad invested in a house in Palamartsa, he decided he wanted a piece of the action too, choosing to invest in the plot directly next door to his family. Talk about thinking ahead, what a lad! Instead of a Nissan Micra that would only have caused him problems and cost a fortune in insurance and maintenance, Nathan has bagged himself his own little slice of the Bulgarian countryside. Nathan already had his licence, so Sonny let him loose in the new Range Rover, and he handled it like a pro. Funny how far your money stretches out here, you can buy your own parcel of Bulgaria for the price of one year’s insurance on a Micra!

Winners on a Wednesday #6

Nikol

Nikols House, Palamartsa

Nikol has lived in Palamartsa her whole life, and when she turned 18, she decided it was time to buy her own place and fly the nest. She rolled up her sleeves and made some real improvements to the house along the way, enjoying every bit of getting hands-on and learning new skills as she went. She’s since sold that house on and upgraded to something ready to move straight into. Well done, Nikol, a real inspiration to other youngsters looking to get onto the property ladder. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

Susan & Eddie

Palm House, Mogilino

The moment Susan and Edy stepped through the door, they knew this was “The One.” Today they live in Mogilino full time, and couldn’t be happier with their decision. The property was turn-key and ready to move into from day one, but that didn’t stop Edy from putting his own stamp on the place. Bit by bit, he’s added his own touches around the house, and turned what was once an overgrown garden into the beautiful sanctuary it is today. From the moment they arrived, Susan and Edy were welcomed warmly by their new neighbours, and they say Mogilino already feels like home.
